We’re proud to be supporting our Associate Director, Amy Searle, who will be joining an energetic team of 30 from the Grocery industry this February to take on the MAG (Mines Advisory Group) Cycle Vietnam Challenge.

The team will cycle a gruelling 600 km along the coast of Vietnam in just five days and monies raised will help MAG achieve its vision of a world free from the threat of landmines and unexploded bombs.   One person every hour is reported killed or injured by a landmine and 42% of casualties are children.  MAG finds, removes and destroys unexploded landmines and bombs from areas  affected by conflict and provides mine risk education programmes so that people can live as safely as possible. Since 1989, the organisation  has helped over 18 million people in 40 countries to rebuild their lives after war.

Amy has already made a fantastic start towards her £5k sponsorship target, which will contribute to the overall group target of £150k.  If you would like to donate please go to www.justgiving.com/Amy-SearleMAG
