We’re delighted to share our latest exciting news – that as part of our 20th Anniversary celebrations, we have officially become an Employee-Owned business.
We’re proud to continue to innovate in the industry and are the first PRCA-accredited agency to give a majority shareholding to our staff.
Playing to our entrepreneurial spirit and unswerving commitment to our team, this new model will create an even more incentivised and galvanised workforce – one with stronger feelings of motivation, ownership and empowerment – ultimately leading to increased client service excellence. Cirkle has placed 60% of its shares into an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) from which every member of our team will benefit, and our Founder & Chairman, Caroline Kinsey, will remain a 40% shareholder.
All of our employees will automatically be beneficiaries of the Trust making them ‘mini-owners’ and offering them significant short and long-term financial benefits as well as greater involvement with the business. All staff will now be known as ‘Partners’ and, as indirect owners of the business, they will benefit from a Partnership Bonus.
Francis Ingham, Director General of the PRCA says ”Cirkle has always prided itself on setting the agenda, not following it and this bold move to a majority Employee-Owned business is utterly typical of that attitude. In this, as in the quality of their client offering, they truly are a visionary agency.”
Probably the most famous EOT model is John Lewis, and we can’t wait to see how our new model plays out.
