Our September annual well-being focus looked very different this year. In the past it’s been a dedicated day in the office, a chance for us to all pack together, a mass team lunch, massages and manicures. The COVID-19 restrictions meant we had to totally re-think our offering, and create a programme we could deliver virtually.

Despite this, our ‘Wellbeing Warriors’ pulled off an impressive four-day festival, accessible to all, regardless of working location. Pilates, a self-care massage course, a series of sleep management clinics, financial well-being 101s, a cook-along with the School of Wok, and for our mums enjoying maternity leave, a baby massage class for their little ones.

A chance for people to focus on their mental well-being, feel connected with each other and put aside pressures of day to day life, the focus this year has been on ensuring our teams are looking after themselves and each other. The sense of camaraderie has been powerful to watch and whilst we all acknowledge this is a thoroughly challenging time, we have been overwhelmed by the team’s resilience and attitude, and their ability to talk openly about their experiences, putting mental health firmly on the Cirkle agenda.
