Creating a series of videos to give prospective graduates an inside look at the company’s programme while building Premier Food’s corporate reputation….
Six graduates already on their placements – working across a variety of roles – offered their highlights so far working at Premier Foods and what people can expect from joining the scheme. The peer to peer endorsement helped create authentic content for Premier Foods’ social channels and careers website, aiming to entice candidates when recruitment is live. The project also aimed to give people an insight into what senior team members at Premier Foods look for in a graduate, with videos filmed with David Wilkinson, HR and Communications Director, and Yilmaz Erceyes, Chief Marketing Officer.
With 2021 applications open, the videos are even more relevant in the current climate at showcasing the office environment, the culture and team spirit – all elements that can be harder to gauge during virtual recruitment and introductions of recent times. To date, the videos have had over 3,400 views across Premier Foods’ careers site and LinkedIn, with the latter channel also amassing 13,500 impressions and an engagement rate of 2.268%, which is above the industry average of 0.054%.
